TK-101 - TWIST THROTTLE, & CABLE, GRIPS - ARGO PARTS

Aftermarket replacement Argo twist throttle for models 1990 -2019.

The original Argo OEM 127-81 twist throttle has been discontinued by Magura and Argo has not been able to source a replacement.  While at a price premium due to low manufacturing quantities, Doc's was able to have a custom version made that fits the 612-101 throttle cable perfectly and will keep your Argo running.

* Not compatible with the 2019 Aurora 8x8 or any model 2020 or newer with the finger pull throttle.

Installation Tech Tip:

To remove the grip with little effort, you can either carefully pull or cut it off or take an air hose from a compressor and place it at the small hole at the end of the grip, insert air in the hole in a circular motion while you pull towards yourself.  To install a new grip, apply a little grip glue to the inside of the grip, place the end of the grip on the throttle tube about a 1/2 inch to 1 inch and insert air in the grip end hole and push on while applying air in a circular motion.  Be sure the grip overhangs the handlebar about 1/4 so the throttle tube clamped on the handlebar works best.  DO NOT overtighten the screw/nuts on the throttle tube or you will crack the plastic, tighten so the throttle base does not rotate when twisting the throttle.

AVENGER 750 & 700 / HDI 750 / HD 700

Model years 2004 -2014 the original throttle cable was a 612-116 and now is discontinued. use cable 612-101 or order kit TK-101.  See download tab to install.

fits all Avenger 700, Avenger 750 EFI, HD 700 and HDI 750 8x8. HDI SE from years 2004 - current production on the 2015 models was switched to the 612-101 CABLE.

BIGFOOT 1997 - 1999

The stock throttle cable was a 612-76. This cable is replaced by ordering a 612-101 and new throttle twist grip 127-81AM. The 612-76 cable is no longer available.  Slight modification may be needed to get the throttle cable to fit on the throttle plate.

BIGFOOT 6X6 2000-2006

The stock cable is a 612-101 for use with throttle tube 127-81AM.

CONQUEST 8X8

CONQUEST 1994 - 1996

Stock throttle cable 612-90 is replaced by throttle cable 812-28. Also requires parts 125-88 and 127-52 to upgrade for the 812-28 to fit. You will use the stock 100-57 chrome throttle twist grip to install these parts. Visit part 812-28 for modification instructions. If you need to replace the throttle, the new style 612-101 throttle cable and 127-81AM throttle twist grip can be used however you will need to jury rig it to work as the cable and mounting is different. If you order a 612-101 and 127-81AM (Kit TK-101) you do not need cable 812-28. If you can save your stock chrome throttle twist grip do so, so you don't have to jury rig the newer version cable/throttle twist grip on your vehicle.

CONQUEST 1997

812-28 is the stock cable for the above year. No modifications are required if you are using the stock 100-57 chrome throttle twist grip. If you need to replace the throttle cable and throttle twist grip the new style 612-101 cable and 127-81AM (Kit TK-101) throttle twist grip can be used however you will need to jury rig it to work as the cable and mounting are different. The 100-57 chrome throttle twist grips are no longer available. Do your best to save the chrome throttle twist grip so you don't have to modify the throttle system.

CONQUEST 1998 - 1999

To replace throttle cable # 612-76 you will need to order throttle cable 612-101 and new throttle twist grip 127-81AM (Kit TK-101). These parts are currently available and will bolt with little modifications needed.

CONQUEST 2000 - 2007

The above years use throttle cable 612-101 and plastic throttle twist grip 127-81AM. Both items are currently available and are direct replacements for the stock cable and throttle twist grip mounted on the above years.

RESPONSE 1995 -1999

To replace throttle cable 612-93 you will need to upgrade to throttle cable 612-101 and throttle twist grip 127-81AM (Kit TK-101). The 612-101 throttle cable will not work with the stock 100-57 chrome throttle twist grip found on the response. Throttle cable 612-93 is no longer available.

The stock throttle cable is a 612-101 and the throttle twist grip is 127-81AM.

VANGUARD / VANGUARD 2 6X6 1992 - 1995

The stock throttle cable 612-89 is replaced with throttle cable 612-77. For use only with the stock 100-57 chrome throttle twist grip. Will not fit the new 127-81AM plastic throttle twist grip. If you need to replace the throttle twist grip and cable you can order 612-101 and 127-81AM (Kit TK-101) and jury rig.

VANGUARD / VANGUARD 2 6X6 1996 -1999

The stock cable is a 612-77 for use only with chrome 100-57 throttle twist grip. Will not fit the new 127-81AM plastic throttle twist grip. If you need to replace the throttle twist grip and cable you can order 612-101 and 127-81 (Kit TK-101) and jury rig.

The stock throttle cable is 612-101 and throttle twist grip is a 127-81AM.

We do our best to stock the most popular parts and accessories, however you may need a part that shows out of stock / special order.

The lead time for special ordered parts from our vendors can range on average from 4 - 8 business days to the dealer level depending on availability at their warehouse. Select Argo parts coming in from Canada can take 12 - 45 days if they are oversized or are manufactured as orders are placed by the dealer.

A representative will contact you if the item you are ordering has an extended delivery time exceeding the normal 4 - 8 business days.

Please note that special ordered parts or accessories are not returnable.

Uninsured packages that are lost or damaged cannot be refunded or replaced. We must be notified immediately of any claims within 24 hours of receipt of insured damaged package.

Packages $150 and greater will have insurance for the product value through the delivery carrier.  Orders under $150 insurance is optional and is the customers choice at checkout.  Uninsured packages that are lost or damaged cannot be refunded or replaced. Expedited shipping is at the quoted rate by the carrier for all expedited packages.  We cannot ship lubricants or any flammable item, oversized accessories like tracks or canvas tops, engines, or breakable products such as windshields internationally.  We are not responsible for import customs delays which can add 1 - 4 business days to clear the package and may require you to call or supply the carrier with additional information for clearance.

International Package Insurance:
All International package no matter the value will have insurance for the product value through the delivery carrier. We must be notified immediately of any claims within 24 hours of receipt of a damaged package via email with photos to forward to the carrier.

Freight Truck: 
We do not ship large pallet orders Internationally.  Large accessories such as tracks, frames, skid plates, or chassis tub/bodies cannot ship outside of the contiguous USA and you will be contacted that we will need to cancel these items.

Customs: 
The shipping rates quoted DO NOT include any duties, VAT, or any fee your country may add to the entry cost of the package into your Country.  These fees would be payable to the carrier before delivery and are the customers responsibility.  Unpaid orders returned to us will not be refunded shipping and the return cost of the package will be deducted from the order total refund once all items are check-in and accounted for.

Off-Road Vehicle & Mower Shipments:
We ship off-road vehicles such as Argo 6x6 and 8x8 vehicles, along with riding mowers, and snowblowers Nationwide through either a network of commercial carriers or contracted private carriers/hotshots.  Pre-shipping communication and scheduling will take place before the vehicle leaves our dealership.  Its is your responsibility to have the proper equipment and location to allow the truck to unload in a safe manner which could mean not in a residential area if the truck is to large to turn around on dead-end street or in small cul-de-sacs.  These obstacles must be communicated before the shipment leaves so the carrier can make arrangements.  Delivery surprises will result in additional fees charged by the carrier.

Return Policy

We have a limited 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days of the carrier showing that the package was delivered to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need to include a copy of the invoice or packing slip with the items being returned on it.  Please note that the cost of return shipping is the customers responsibility and we do not issue return labels.

Once your return has been approved, we’ll send email you return instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return authorization will not be accepted.

Exceptions / Non-returnable items

* Special Ordered parts or accessories which includes any non-stocking item that needed to be ordered from the vendor at the time of your order.

* Any electrical item such as fuel pumps, charging rectifiers, stators, fuel injectors, alternators, light bulbs, wire harnesses, or specialty electrical testers.

* Oil or lubricants 
* Gift cards or store credits.
* Dealer to Dealer Orders.

Damages and Issues

You have 15 days to inspect your order and contact us if the item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item. If the package is damaged and either the contents are missing or damaged please contact us immediately of receiving the package so if the package was insured a claims process can begin.

If we made an error on your order like shipping you the wrong parts or missed a part, we will fix it at no cost to you.

Refund Policy

Your refund will automatically process if the there were no issues with the returned parts.  Refund Processing can take up to 7 business days of receipt of the package. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund to your account.   If more than 10 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at info@docsfullboreoutdoor.com.

Dealer to dealer orders are not eligible for returns or refunds.
