Master the Trail: How to Navigate Argo Digital Parts Manuals
Finding the right parts for your Argo XTV or ATV shouldn’t be a guessing game. Whether you’re elbow deep in grease on a 2012 Avenger 8x8 or maintaining your new Frontier 6x6, having up-to-date parts diagrams at your fingertips is essential. Doc’s Full Bore Outdoor has simplified this process with their Online Digital Parts Diagrams, a comprehensive hub for easy parts look-up for Argo Parts, Briggs & Stratton Engines, Kawasaki Power Equipment Engines, and Kohler / Rehlko Engine parts.
Here’s your step-by-step guide to finding your model and navigating the digital parts manuals like a pro.
Step 1: Accessing the OEM Parts Diagrams
You can either access our parts website through www.DocsFullBoreOutdoor.com then clicking on the Parts tab or by going direct to parts.docsfullboreoutdoor.com, then look at the top navigation bar. Click on the "OEM Parts Diagrams" tab. A dropdown menu will appear with several options:
-
Argo Digital Parts Diagrams (2010+): Use this for modern interactive diagrams where you can click parts to add them directly to your cart. This is only for models 2010 or newer.
-
Argo PDF Parts Manuals (1980’s–Current): Use this if you prefer a traditional downloadable manual or are working on an older machine prior to model year 2010. You can print the manuals or reference the part numbers and add them into the search bar on our website to locate the parts.
- Argo doesn't provide engine parts in their manuals. You can look up your engine parts by selecting from Briggs & Stratton, Kawasaki, or Kohler / Rehlko engine parts.

Step 2: Find Your Specific Model
The key to accurate parts ordering is knowing your vehicle's exact year and model series.
- Select the Category: Under "Argo Digital Parts Diagrams," you’ll find groupings like "XTV (Amphibious 6x6 & 8x8 Series)," "ATV (Xplorer Series)," and "SxS (Magnum Series)".
- Filter by Year/Serial: Many manuals are organized by production year or serial number ranges (e.g., "From Serial #..."). If you aren't sure of your year, check the V.I.N. plate on your vehicle—starting in 2010 the 10th digit of your VIN number is a letter. 2010=A, 2011=B, 2012=C, etc.
- For PDF manual look up, models 2000 - 2009 the 10th digit is a number 2000=0, 2001=1, 2002=2, etc.
- Select your Argo Model. Model names can be found on the VIN tag or Nameplate attached to the side of the vehicle. Some model diagrams are combined under the base model on earlier diagrams.
- If looking up Engine models there is normally a white sticker or metal plate attached to the engine cover or placed on the engine block. On an Argo this plate could be located between the engine and transmission and would require a mirror to see. You can always contact Doc's Full Bore Outdoor at 715-758-2480 or use our Live Chat feature and we can look-up your engine code on any Argo model.

Step 3: Navigating the Digital Interface
Once you select your model, the digital catalog opens an interactive viewer.
- Select a Category: Parts are organized by major assembly, such as Upper Body, Chassis, Drive System, or Engine. You can change assemblies by clicking the "Change Assembly" tab.
- Use the Callouts: On the diagram, each part has a reference number. Find that number in the adjacent list to see the official Argo Part Number, description, and quantity required. Note that some older parts may be discontinued and will result in the part not being found or could be superseded and will place the newest part number in your shopping cart. Reference numbers that cannot be highlighted are now discontinued by Argo.
- Interactive Shopping: In the digital diagrams, many parts are hyperlinked. Clicking the part number will often take you directly to the product page on Doc's Full Bore Outdoor for easy checkout or you can add to cart right from the parts diagram.

Pro Tips for Success
- Cross-Reference Your Serial Number: Don't guess. Models can change mid-year. Always verify your serial number against the manual's "From Serial #" heading if selecting an older parts manual or using the PDF manuals.
-
Search by Part Number: If you already have a part number from an old manual, you can skip the diagrams and type it directly into the site's Search Bar at the top of the page.
- Use Live Chat: If you’re stuck, look for the Live Chat icon in the lower right. You can connect with experts like Ed Pfeiffelman, who has nearly two decades of Argo experience, to verify tech specs.
- While the parts diagrams are easy to use they require you to add each individual part to your cart. Doc's Full Bore Outdoor put together the most popular Argo Parts into quick order Argo Bundled Parts Kits for an easy one click add to cart shopping experience.
