500-0015 - TRANSMISSION ASM, CLASSIC - 2.6 STD RATIO (2020+) - ARGO PARTS

2.6 Gear Ratio  
  

Stock replacement high torque ratio (2.6) Classic/Gen II transmission for Frontier models 2020+.  Designed for use with the Hayes brake system mounting.   
  
The 2.6 gear ratio has a higher top end speed, however has less low-end torque for running tracks or for use in deep mud or snow.  We recommend replacing your transmission with the 3.3 ratio if you intend to run tracks at all.  Overall speed difference is about 4mph between the two ratios.  Order 500-0016 if you want the 3.3 ratio.  
  
You will reuse many external parts from your transmission when installing, don't discard any parts from your old transmission until the new one arrives.
