34-100 - TRANSMISSION ASM, CLASSIC, 2.6 STD RATIO - ARGO PARTS

Replacement standard ratio (2.6) Classic/Gen II transmission.  This transmission was standard Avenger and Frontier models unless optioned to the 3.3 HT version by the dealer when the unit was manufactured. 2022 and newer models the dealer could no longer option the 3.3 ratio making the 2.6 ratio version standard in all Frontier models.  
  
The 2.6 gear ratio has a high top end speed, however has less low-end torque for running tracks or for use in deep mud or snow.  We recommend replacing your transmission with the 3.3 ratio if you intend to run tracks at all.  Overall speed difference is about 4mph between the two ratios.  
  
You will reuse many external parts from your transmission when installing, don't discard any parts from your old transmission until the new one arrives.
